2 1/2 weeks!!

Just a quick post: We are leaving for Spring Break in 2 1/2 weeks!! Where? Why, New Mexico, of course. All of us are waaaay too excited to be with our fam and our friends.

In the meantime, Jarrod continues to recover from his back injury at work. He's got about 3 more weeks of Phys. Therapy, then another trip to the back surgeon in Wichita to check his progress. We'll have to just wait and see what our next step is. He's become quite the Mr. Mom these past two months, and I honestly think this time of "Forced Rest" has been exactly what his body needs. He's the hardest working man I've ever known and hardly EVER stops to take time for himself. Of course, I've become rather attached to this guy after all these weeks and it will be hard to see him head off to work on a daily basis. What shall I do? DISHES?!? LAUNDRY?!? ALL... BY... MYSELF?!?! Ok, I don't need to panic yet. We have another month before any of that takes place. I've become quite used to going to work and kissing HIM good-bye.

Anna Mary turns 11 years old tomorrow (Feb. 24th)!! She's so tall, skinny, beautiful, and very witty! She's always making us laugh.

This year, the 2010 year as of today, has been the most unexpected, unpredictable two months of our lives so far, yet we feel held in the Hand of God Himself. Who'd have thought that 5 days into the new year our lives would be turned upside-down (not the first time)? If nothing else, it has been a time of giving without expecting anything in return and trusting that God knows what He's doing. Thanks for all of your sweet Facebook comments, emails, meals, encouraging words, and on and on. You are so dear to us, and we love each of you!
